IP Telephony Control

The Metro IP Telephony package enables user control of lighting and other building services via desktop IP telephones and comprises hardware and software.

A Metro IP Telephony interface server connects to the building IT network and monitors lighting commands entered into the VOIP telephones. The unique IP address of each telephone is matched through an online database to lights in the area so that users do not need to enter a location-related or other specific code. The Metro IP Telephony software enables drag-and-drop matching of phone IP addresses to individual lights or groups of lights.

Using their IP telephone function buttons, users may switch lighting on or off, set lighting to a user-preferred lighting level or dim lighting up and down.
