Apicorp Headquarters Dammam, Saudi Arabia

in

The headquarters of Apicorp (Arab Petroleum Investment Corporation) is laid out as an office village with buildings clustered around a series of courtyards sheltering under a single protective barrel-vaulted roof. The roof provides a conceptual cover that shelters all Apicorp’s departments as well as acting as an environmental buffer that modulates sunlight and protects against the intense heat of the Saudi climate.

Using latest technology and integrated systems, the space within the building is truly flexible and services are placed outside the main body of the building to create huge internal areas that can adapt to the changing needs of the business.

The Delmatic lighting management system provides addressable control of lighting throughout the building with telephone control of lighting in all office areas and scene-setting dimming within the auditorium areas. Delmatic supplied specially-designed control modules to suit electrical installation requirements within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as custom emergency-lighting changeover modules enabling emergency lighting to be centrally tested.
