Capital Tower is a 52-storey intelligent office tower designed as a beacon on the skyline of Singapore’s Central Business District. The 70,000 sq.m complex is the headquarters of the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation who occupy 20 floors of the building.
The Delmatic lighting management system provides total flexibility with individual addressable switching and dimming of each luminaire within office areas and was the first building in Asia to incorporate analogue lamp failure detection. Scene-set dimming within management and meeting rooms is combined with telephone control of lighting within general office areas.
The building has an intelligent facilities management system providing a range of smart features including the electronic booking of meeting rooms and the reservation of car park spaces: the Delmatic system integrates with the facilities management system so that requests for overtime and late-working entered via user PCs automatically extend lighting switching times in their area.
