The Carmine Building is a 31,000 sq.m 15 storey office building combining sculpted triangular volumes and a dynamic façade, with spectacular views towards Hyde Park and the City.
A Delmatic lighting management system controls lighting throughout the shell and core areas of the building as well as within the Marks & Spencer fit-out offices.
The Dali system provides total flexibility with individual addressable switching, dimming and monitoring of each luminaire. Plug-in Dali modules have been used on the project to provide all the benefits of Dali without the need to address ballasts on site.
The system achieves energy-efficiency through presence detection, absence detection and daylight-linked dimming and includes scene-setting controls within the meeting and conference rooms.
Corridor and core lighting is integrated with lighting in office lighting on each floor to secure exit lighting at all times.
The system is managed and monitored through graphical head-end software which displays the active status of lighting as well as providing information on luminaire run times: all changes to system configuration are made through software including the time-out periods of sensors.
