British Embassy Moscow, Russia

in

The "transparent" glass structure and airiness of the new British Embassy in Moscow is designed to symbolise the open relations between the UK and Russia.

The 21,000 sq m complex consists of office and residential accommodation, leisure facilities, library and bar all constructed and supplied under the strictest security measures. The building seeks to display the best of British design and is a "symbol of the best that contemporary Britain generates in design and the visual arts".

A Delmatic system provides energy-efficient switching and dimming of lighting across the compound and includes presence detection, daylight-linking and custom-built modules and lighting control panels.
